The Teacher profile of the teachers will serve as a source of truth about the teacher’s reality, to help DIKSHA and states recognise their needs and support them. Teacher’s may choose to share their needs and display their accolades using the teacher profile. Teachers signing up on DIKSHA may create their own online profiles which will assist in tracking their professional development, contribute their ideas and challenges.
The Teacher Registry, a component owned by states, will be a compilation of teacher profiles of a state. States may utilize this to recognise teacher contributions and challenges to provide customised content, training and support based on the teacher’s context and needs.
