The Department of Education, Government of Delhi believes that teaching needs to be a truly professional pursuit, for which a teacher needs a continuum of professional practice, collaborative spaces and actionable feedback. It is a constant process of evolution, all the more so in a world that is always on a state of change. To align teaching with the dynamic realities of today, a new vision for the schools of Delhi is proposed that is rooted in teacher collaboration, innovation and creativity resting on a growth mindset - a model of the very same skills that students must learn in today's dynamic world. Diksha Delhi's tenet *LEAD* Learning through E-Resources made Accessible for Delhi is an endeavor to provide trusted on-line resources in the form of energized textbooks, audios, videos, virtual lesson plans, worksheets and assessments to students as well as teachers. The aim is to complement teaching, save time, help improve instructions and promote personalized learning to keep students more engaged and connected with teachers. This digital portal has the power to transform the teaching learning process by ushering in a new model of connected teaching.

AI Training Program for PGT & TGT Computer Science Teachers of Directorate of Education, GNCT Delhi

ICT Department, SCERT Delhi conducted a comprehensive AI training program from May to September, training 136 PGTs and 1,478 TGTs in three phases across different zones. The program focused on AI integration in education, software development, and mobile app creation, aligning with NEP 2020's recommendations. Teachers gained hands-on experience in AI tools and applications across subjects, enhancing digital pedagogy and interdisciplinary learning. The training proved highly impactful, equipping educators with future-ready AI skills to foster innovative teaching methodologies. This initiative marks a significant step toward AI-driven education, ensuring better learning outcomes for students.
