The State has recognized this demand and developed Sahaj to empower teachers who are discovering the power of technology and are independently innovating with tech-based solutions in their own classrooms. Teachers can use Sahaj to create teacher learning material, share their goals, work, contributions and achievements. Sahaj’s tools and features empower Students and Parents to use Curriculum-linked resources and assessments. The platform presents a unique opportunity to leverage technology to leapfrog solutions to the benefit of teachers, students and parents in Uttar Pradesh”
Uttar Pradesh has a large number of talented and committed teachers who need to be celebrated and their expertise made available to others. In reality, the complexity and diversity of a classroom is only experienced by the teacher. In the absence of any formal redressal mechanisms, teachers often find organic solutions to deal with these challenges. One of the fundamental tenets of Sahaj is to enable teachers to create effective learning environments.
Sahaj’s tools and features empower teachers to find their own solutions by helping them create or use the materials they need and to customise them according to their contexts. For teachers to fulfil their central role as educators, they need easy access to teaching and learning resources and opportunities and motivation that are equally important for their professional development. In this context, Sahaj is an attempt to strengthen the capacity of teachers and to bring together all the efforts and re-imagine solutions at scale to positively impact the lives of all the teachers and learners in the State.
