About Us

  • The DIKSHA platform in West Bengal is a state-led digital learning initiative that is academically anchored by the Directorate of SCERT and is managed by the School Education Department, Government of West Bengal.
  • This initiative is the result of a continuous voyage that commenced in 2018, when SCERT presented its initial digital content strategy to the 14th Project Approval Board (PAB) of Samagra Shiksha. Since that time, the program has received the endorsement and support of each annual PAB from 2018 to 2024. Each PAB has approved cumulative allocations for content creation, training, digital textbook development, and platform integration.
  • SCERT, the academic nodal agency, is responsible for the review, curation, and upload of all digital learning materials submitted by the appropriate academic authorities at each level-namely the Boards, CSE and PBSSM-to ensure quality assurance, curriculum alignment and compliance with DIKSHA standards. These resources encompass assessments, professional development content, digital teaching-learning modules, and energized textbooks.
