User Profile

Overview

Creating and updating profile on DIKSHA platform is a seamless process. It allows registered users to extend and provide information related to their experience, skills, education, awards etc. Providing this information helps the system provide personalized recommendations for courses to upgrade your skills, selects you for custom programs, connects you to others in the community, build bridges for collaboration, etc. You may choose to create, update or edit your profile information at any time.

Note: Fields marked with (*) are mandatory fields. Enter details in all mandatory fields. You cannot submit the form in case you miss out entering details in any of the mandatory fields. In such a case, an error message is displayed. Close the message box and provide the required details, before you proceed to submit the form.

Prerequisites

Step Screen
1. You are logged in and have clicked on Profile drop-down menu
2. You have clikced Profile option from the drop-down mneu, and want to add or edit your personal information

Viewing Profile Details

The profile page allows you to view and edit your personal profile details.

Step Screen
1. Click the Profile option, following information is displayed here:
 a. Username
 b. User ID
 c. Organization
 d. Location
 e. Mobile number
 f. Email ID
 g. Board
 h. Medium
 i. Subjects
 j. Classes
Note:
  • Completed training or courses are displayed in the Courses section
  • Content that are created by you are displayed in the Content Created by Me section
  • Assigned badges are displayed on the Badge section along with the number of badges

  • 2. Click Edit to update the following details:
  • Board
  • Class
  • Medium
  • Subject
  • The Edit Profile window is displayed

    Editing Profile Details

    You can edit the following details using the Profile tab:

    • Personal details such as name, state, and district
    • Contact details such as mobile number and email ID
    • Other details such as board, medium, subject, and class
    Step Screen
    1. Select the appropriate value from the respective drop-down menus:
  • Board
  • Class
  • Medium
  • Subject

  • Note:
    Based on the selected value for any field, the subsequent field displays the dependent values. For example, selecting Andhra Pradesh State Board, Telugu appears as the Medium of instruction
    2. Click Submit after you edit the details
    Editing Personal Details
    1. Click Edit to update the following details:
  • Name
  • State
  • District
  • The Edit Details window is displayed
    2. Enter the appropriate values for each field
    Based on the selected value for State, the value for the District drop-down is populated
    3. Click Submit after you edit the details
    Editing and Verifying Mobile Number
    1. Click on the Mobile number field to update your phone number The Update Mobile Number pop-up is displayed here
    2. Edit the phone number
    3. Click Submit
    You will receive an OTP via SMS to verify your phone number
    4. Enter the OTP that you have received in the Enter OTP field
    5. Click Submit
    Editing and Verifying Email ID
    1. Click on the Email ID field to update your email ID
    A window is displayed
    2. Enter your new email ID
    3. Click Submit
    You will receive an OTP via email to verify your email ID
    4. Enter the OTP that you have received in the Enter OTP field
    5. Click Submit
    Editing Other Details
    1. Click Edit to update the following details:
  • Board
  • Class
  • Medium
  • Subject

  • The Edit Profile window is displayed
    2. Select the appropriate values for each field
  • Subject

  • Note:
